Psychology of Human Development
This course presents students with an overview of human development across the lifespan, with a focus on infancy and childhood. Students are acquainted with major developmental concepts, theories, and research on lifespan development.
Experimental Design and Statistical Inference
This course is designed to provide a general introduction to experimental design and statistical inference. Inferential techniques are considered for a variety of experimental designs in the life sciences. Students learn to calculate and interpret measures of dispersion (variance, standard deviation), z-scores, correlations, regression lines, variance of linear combinations, t- tests, and ANOVAs (analysis of variance) and also learn about probabilities
